Location

Denis lies 95km north of Victoria, Mahé. Denis' 350 acres is home to a varied vegetation and populations of sea and land birds. For fishermen it is ideally situated for deep-sea fishing expeditions on the nearby edge of the Seychelles’ bank.

Denis offers excellent nature walks as well as the facilities of tennis, diving, windsurfing, canoeing and of course sunbathing on its gleaming white beaches.  Its  25-chalet lodge is the perfect honeymoon getaway offering seclusion in comfort and with excellent gourmet cuisine.

Restaurants & bars:

An imposing L-shaped building located on the Island’s western promontory houses the lodge’s administration and also its spacious bar and restaurant areas.

The restaurant, with an already enviable reputation for some of the finest cuisine in Seychelles, offers clients a sumptuous breakfast buffet of local fruits, freshly squeezed juices, farm eggs, fresh croissants and Danish pastries.

 Lunches present a choice of three buffets: Salad; a variety of hot dishes complemented by an open grill preparing fish or meat and, finally, a table of desserts.

Dinner features a table d’hôte 5 days a week with a Creole Buffet served on Thursdays and Saturdays under the stars.

Land and Water Sports Activities:

  The use of the following sports facilities is unlimited:

INDOOR: billiards, table tennis, darts, board games and videos.

OUTDOOR: Swimming Pool,  hobby cat sailing, wind surfing, tennis, golf swing practice, petanque, volleyball and snorkeling, Diving by On-Site Dive Center five-star PADI operator, Fishing, Guided Nature Walks and Expeditions.

Other facilities:

Baby Sitting: A baby sitter , who charges on an hourly basis, may be arranged through reception giving 24 hour advance notice.

Business assistance: with faxing, typing, duplicating or e-mail requirements and also with international phone calls is possible.

Dress Code: Gentlemen are required to wear long trousers after 19:30 hrs at the hotel lobby, bar and restaurant.
Communications: There is no signal for mobile phones on Denis Island. The hotel receptionist will be pleased to help you with any local or international calls.

Access: Denis Island Resort is currently accessible by scheduled Air Seychelles Domestic flights on Mondays, Tuesdays, Thursdays, Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays. Although each aircraft can normally carry the full airline 20kgs baggage allowance per person, space is the limiting factor and we request clients to bring soft luggage only. Excess luggage is subject to availability of space on the aircraft.

Room facilities

The island boasts 23 Deluxe, air-conditioned cottages of 90 sq metres each offering a high standard of comfort within a tasteful surrounding. Cottages have their own private sea-facing verandahs and courtyards dotted between casuarinas and coconut trees to ensure your total privacy.

All cottages have: air condition, ceiling fan, double vanity, twin jet shower, outside private courtyard, alfresco-shower, bath, WC, bidet, tea and coffee making facilities, mini-bar, iron/ironing board, hair dryer.

Villa Prince Noir: The spacious (169sqm) air conditioned Family Villa known as the “Villa Prince Noir”, recommended for families, offers a separate bedroom with a lounge that can accommodate 2 children under 12 years of age.

 Villa Bois D’Argent: The air conditioned Executive Villa, known as the “Bois D’Argent”, with a generous 325 sq m of living space, features lounge, verandah and outside patio and private outside courtyard. Ideal for couples, Guests of this villa will enjoy full bathroom facilities with twin jet shower as well as a mini bar and an overall standard of comfort entirely appropriate to such a stylish ambiance.
