Location

Situated on the West coast of Praslin facing the islands of Cousin & Cousine, Villas de Mer is located on a prime site of the island’s longest beach. The hotel has been completely renovated and offers 10 mini suites.  Seven of them are situated within three villas and the other three in a “Plantation style” house. All are sea facing.

Villas de Mer is part of the new “Hotels de Charme” properties in Seychelles and is haven of peace & tranquility, close to the bustling heart of Grand Anse.

The sea view beach restaurant, provides Creole and European cuisine under the management of Lydia Lablache of the Britannia Hotel, also well-known for its excellent cuisine.  Admire the mauve outline of other far-off islands while watching the most beautiful sunset over the island of Cousin & Cousine, and sipping a tropical cocktail before enjoying the mouth savoring. 

A kiosque along the beach offers a fresh catch of the day from the local fisherman, as well as snacks and salads.

NOTE: During the South East Monsoon (May to October), there are seaweeds on the beach, which are removed daily by the hotel. The hotel offers free transportation to the beaches of Anse Volbert & Anse Lazio.

Recreation, Leisure & Sports

Sports & Excursions with supplement: Deep sea fishing, scuba diving and excursions to visit neighbouring islands of Aride, Cousin, Curieuse and La Digue can be organized upon request at nearby establishments.

Free transports for scuba diving at any diving centre on the Island.

Villa de Mer is situated only five minutes away by car from the Lemuria Hotel, to the newest and only, 18 holes golf course in the islands.

Alternatively, spend the day criss-crossing the island’s footpaths, visiting the “Garden Eden” (Valle de Mai).

Maid services for washing and daily cleaning of Villas. Fishing & Scuba diving are available on request.

The 10 spacious mini suites (with 2 communicated rooms) are nicely decorated, most of the bedrooms can accommodate up to two adults and one or two children. He mini suits feature a sitting area and private terrace.
