Fly fishing at AlphonseAlphonse offers world-class fly-fishing, primarily for bonefish, barracuda and trevally. On nearby St François, there is a natural reservoir virtually unexploited. Bonefish up to 7 kg may be caught and reasonably good fly-fishermen may catch 50 in a day. Even beginners have caught 20 on their first day. Several world records have been claimed including four within the space of one week. |
