S.V. Sea Shell and S.V. Sea Pearl offer standard cruises between the inner islands of Seychelles: 7 nights cruise during the November-April period and 6 nights cruise during the May-October period.Personalised cruises can also be organised around Mahé and the "inner islands" group or around another island group.The inner islands are granitic and gathered around Mahé, Praslin and La Digue. |
Day One/Sunday: Departure 12:00hrs from Victoria, the world’s smallest capital, to Round Island, Praslin. Arrive in the afternoon for a welcome Pirate Barbecue.
Day Two/ Monday: Sail during
breakfast to the Ave Maria rocks for diving and a variety of water sports. Early
afternoon, sail to Grande Soeur and Petite Soeur (the sisters) for a visit of an
uninhabited tropical island. At sunset there is the chance to try some
traditional fishing.
Day Three/Tuesday: Sail to
Coco Island in the morning for snorkeling and diving. The afternoon we sail to La
Digue, the island of the Seychelles Paradise Flycatcher, and of beaches
reputed to be the most beautiful in the world. Explore the island on Ox-cart, or
on cycles.
Day Four/Wednesday: Sail to
Baie Ste Anne Jetty, Praslin, Seychelles second largest inhabited island.
Guests may disembark to visit the World Heritage site: Vallée De Mai Nature
Reserve.
Day Five/Thursday: Sail to Curieuse
Island for a visit to the mangrove forests and the giant tortoise conservation
project. The afternoon will be dedicated to diving, water sports or relaxing.
Day
Day Seven/Saturday: Early
morning we sail to St Anne Marine Park for an afternoon of snorkeling and
diving and a possibility for a visit to the Island of St Anne where in 1770 the
first settlement is Seychelles took place. During the evening we sail into Port
Victoria for overnight.
Day Eight/Sunday:
Disembarkation at 8:30a.m.
Day one/Sunday: Guests arrive at 10:30 a.m. at Anse Possession, Praslin. After lunch, there will be an afternoon sailing in Curieuse Baie followed by a welcome barbecue at sunset.
Day two/Monday: Sail to Curieuse Island for a visit of the mangrove forest and the giant tortoise conservation project, and in the afternoon enjoy some after sports at Curieuse bay.
Day three/Tuesday: Sail to La Digue, the island of the Seychelles Paradise Flycatcher and of beaches reputed to be the most beautiful in the world.
Day four/Wednesday: Sail to Cote D'or, Praslin, where guests may disembark for a visit of the World Heritage site, the Vallée de Mai Nature Reserve. After lunch there is another opportunity to enjoy the varied water sports available or simply relax. An afternoon visit may be made to the tiny picturesque island of St Pierre, an excellent site for snorkeling.
Day five/Thursday: Sail to Cousin Island, a nature reserve famed for its seabird colonies, for a morning to explore. After a relaxed lunch, we enjoy a leisurely afternoon with more opportunities for water sports and diving.
Day six/Friday: Sail to Anse Lazio, one of Praslin's most beautiful beaches, a perfect place for swimming, snorkeling and all the other water sports. Evening sunset sail to Curieuse Bay, enjoying the scenic beauty of the world's only ocean islands made of granite.
Day seven/Saturday: Guests will disembark at Anse Possession, Praslin, at 9:00 a.m.
