  1. Bird Watching - Mahe Island

Activity: Ecological Tours

Seychelles| Mahe| Les Mamelles / 6 hours

Mahe holds two of the most elusive endemics of the islands Seychelles White Eye and the Seychelles Scops Owl, there are quite a number of migrating waders such as the Whimbrels, Grey Plovers and  stunning Crab Plovers

      2.    Bird Watching - Praslin and Cousin Island

Cousin Island holds some important protected endemic breeds of birds including the Seychelles warblers and a growing colony of magpie robins, the latter listed on the IUCN as critically endangered. Cousin being a special reserve, flash photography is not allowed as it can frighten nesting birds. In case the tour coincides with the sea turtle nesting season, please do not approach them as it may prevent it from nesting.
