La Digue Island is the focus of traditional slow paced creole-living way of life, first inhabited in 1798.

A quick stop by the Art gallery in the basement of the iconic Grann Kaz, a historical 19th century French Colonial Plantation House where the famous movie from 1977, ‘Goodbye Emmanuel’ was filmed.
